This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, with no financial targets or out-of-hours work. The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities and focuses on providing high-quality care for pets. Job specification - Provide first opinion veterinary care for cats, dogs, and small furries. - Conduct consultations and perform routine surgical procedures. - Work collaboratively with a team of vets, RVNs, and support staff. - Participate in one evening clinic per week (until 6:30 pm) and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (until 12:30 pm). - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Candidate requirements - Previous experience in a veterinary practice is essential. - Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach. - Proficiency in routine surgical procedures. - Commitment to building strong relationships with clients and their pets. Role scope
- Deliver consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning and client communication to a consistently high standard.
- Use professional judgement around referral, escalation, surgery, prescribing and patient welfare.
- Work with the practice team to keep care safe, calm and commercially aware without rushing clinical quality.
