Job specification - Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to animals and pets - Assist the vet during checkups / surgical procedures. - Maintain accurate and organised patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and client interactions. - Communicate effectively within the veterinary team. Candidate requirements - Valid registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as a Veterinary Nurse. - Previous exposure to a veterinary clinic or hospital environment - Proficient understanding of animal behaviour, general illnesses, and medical terminology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Exhibit passion for animal welfare and dedication to providing outstanding animal patient care. Role scope

  • Support inpatient care, anaesthesia, theatre flow, consult nurse duties and client education where required.
  • Keep clinical records, handovers, controlled-drug processes and infection control standards reliable.
  • Work closely with veterinary surgeons, nursing colleagues and reception teams to protect client and patient flow.
